JOSH DAFFERN, Senior High Pastor
Born and raised in California, Josh graduated college from California Baptist University and spent two years as a missionary in Africa before coming back to America and finding the love of his life (Robin). Josh graduated from New Orleans Seminary with a Master’s of Divinity and is currently engaged in Doctoral studies. Josh came on staff at First Baptist Jackson in November of 2005 and has been involved in student ministry for over five years. Josh enjoys playing golf, reading, and eliminating alien life on his XBOX 360. Josh, his gorgeous wife Robin, his outrageously handsome baby boy, Zeke,and their emotionally sensitive dog, Princess, live in Madison.

JEREMY MCMAHAN, Junior High Pastor
Raised in Tupelo, MS at Harrisburg Baptist Church. Accepted Christ as Savior in Junior High School and spent some time in college. Ok, I spent 5 long years in college!!! So there. Finally graduated from Mississippi College and then attended and graduated from Southwestern Theological Seminary with a Master's of Divinity degree. I live in Ridgeland with my awesome wife Catherine, our very funny and energetic 2 year old son Caleb, and my wife's dog, Gracie (a pomeranian will never really be a man's dog). 10 years of ministry and still don't have a clue, but having tons of fun. I came to FBCJ staff in March of 2006 and I have a passion to see Junior High students come to Christ and mature beyond their years in their walk with Him.

I am originally from Petal, MS. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a history degree! Yeah, I’m a dork! I moved to Jackson and came to FBCJ in February 2007. Since moving here, I enjoy getting lost and fighting traffic.

SETH PRICE, Youth Ministry Associate
Born and raised in Kosciusko, MS at First Baptist Kosy. I began a personal relationship with Christ after attending Gulf Shores Baptist Assembly when I was 13 years old. I moved to Clinton, MS in the fall of 2003, where I began an undergraduate degree in Christian Studies and Philosophy at Mississippi College. I am graduating from MC in the spring of 2007, and then who knows what’s next. I have been at First Baptist Jackson since the fall of 2004. I have a passion for building relationships with teenagers, seeing them grow in their relationship with Christ, and leading them in worship on a weekly basis.

NICK RICCERI, Youth Ministry Associate
Raised in Blair, Nebraska and I am currently attending Mississippi College. I have been raised in a Christian home, but received Christ as my personal Lord and Savior when I was 16 years old. I will be graduating from Mississippi College in 2009, and then will be pursuing a Masters Degree from a Seminary. My heart is building Godly relationships with the youth and helping them with the ups and downs during high school.
