Stewardship at FBCJ

First Baptist Jackson uses two types of offering envelopes, personalized and standard. Prior to the first day of each month, church members will receive a month’s supply of personalized envelopes in the mail at the address shown in our financial system. If the church has a special offering scheduled during a given month, a separate, special offering envelope will be included in the monthly supply of envelopes. Personalized envelopes reflect the member’s name, address, and the envelope (account) number that is assigned by the Business Office. Standard envelopes are white in color, are for general use and are found in the pews of our sanctuary. The contributor’s name, the amount of the contribution, and any designation for the contribution should be shown on the face of the standard envelope. All contributions to First Baptist Jackson are recorded in our financial system using the contributor’s name, and each contributor will receive a contribution statement in the month following the close of each quarter, and a full year’s contribution statement in January of the following year.
