Transformation Teams are groups of men who meet two
to four times per month to encourage one another in their walk with the
Lord. The meetings are 30-60 minutes in length and involve fellowship,
scripture memory, discussion of Bible passages, and prayer. If you are
interested in joining a team contact Cynthia Howell at chowell@fbcj.org.
Transformation Teams are now forming for
2008. At this time you may contact Rance Sapen for information
related to joining or forming a team. Other men on the Transformation
Teams Task Force are Amos Belknap, Adair Balckledge, Ken Blackstock,
Sam Denney, Web Drake, Buddy Huff, Norman Joseph, Sam Peeples, Ken
Sims, Kelly Thurman, Nat Bullock,
Steve Maloney,
Joe May,
Trey Proctor,
Nick Walters,
Andy Wimberly,
Spencer Young.
The Bible is our guidebook and should be
read and studied continually. Developing a good systematic method of Bible
reading and study is important
for mature Christian growth. Transformation Team members are encouraged
to follow a plan for reading the entire Bible and also do indepth
study of Bible books and major passages. The books of Galatians, Ephesians,
Philippians,
and Colossians are recommended for beginning study.

Below you will find suggested discipleship
resources. Our desire is for you to "long for the pure milk of the word." These
resources are available to supplement your study of scripture but
the Bible is always
our primary discipleship guide. Please never allow devotion books
or other resources to take the place of the reading and study of
scripture itself.
