First Baptist Church Jackson is now involved in an effort to control
ever-rising energy costs in our Church facilities. This
people-oriented program, which was approved by the Congregation
on December 19, 2007, helps us achieve our commitment
to be good stewards of God’s financial resources as well as
our nation’s natural resources. We’re working with Energy
Education, Inc., a nationwide company that has helped more
than 850 schools and churches save more than $1 Billion in
energy costs over the last 20 years. To coordinate the conservation
effort, a part-time Energy Manager position is now
