PRESCHOOL MINISTRY

FBCJ places high priority on it's Preschool Ministry. Discovery Trail, our Preschool Ministry environment, provides an exciting place for learning in all of our preschool programs. Through well balanced curriculum, hands on activities, and interaction with other children and adults, the preschoolers are discovering truths about Jesus, God, and His plan for their lives. For preschool parents, FBCJ provides encouragement and equipping to help them become the primary provider of spiritual instruction for their child.

Discovery Trail at FBCJ is a safe, clean, secure place where the physical, emotional , and spiritual needs of young children ware met. Biblical truths are demonstrated through unconditional love, fostering trust of parents and preschoolers, and through modeling the Christian lifestyle.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday: 9:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. on the first floor
You will be greeted by our preschool staff who will guide you and your child to the appropriate Sunday School room. Your child we be involved in age appropriate activities and Bible stories.

MUSIC

Wednesday: 6:00 p.m., on the fifth floor
August - December: Preschoolers
January - May: Children
Music for preschool children is a midweek activity beginning in August and culminating in Decembern. The preschool music experience consists of musical games, praise songs, special guest instrumentalists, singing in prayer meeting and evening church. more . . .

MISSION FRIENDS

Wednesday: 6:00 p.m. on the fifth floor
August - December: Children
January - May: Preschoolers
Missions provides midweek fun and discipleship where preschoolers are exposed to a world outside their own. Preschoolers enjoy developmentally appropriate missions learning experiences to them move from a self-centered focus to a focus on others, to become aware that not everyone knows about God's love, and to understand ways they can help others know about His good news. more . . .

AWANA

Sunday: 6:00 p.m. in CLC on first floor
AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. It is an exciting program combining Bible Study, scripture memory, and active games with children and preschoolers beginning at 3 years of age. more . . .

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

June 2-6, 2008
Vacation Bible School is a week of WOW (Wonderful One Week)! Preschooler who will enter 5 year old kindergarten in the fall are invited to attend this week of innovative Bible story learning, games, crafts, refreshments, and fellowship that promises to leave them the next year. Activities in this fun filled week are purposed with an overall theme with spiritual transformation as the foundation. more . . .
